Our Operations Coordinator will assist the Community Manager with daily operations of the community. Job functions include, responding to incoming calls and homeowner walk-in’s with the utmost focus, knowledge and professionalism, attending and presenting material at Board of Director meetings, overseeing the maintenance needs of the community and assisting in common area operations, which include the pool and community center.

 

What You’ll Accomplish

 

  • Assist in all aspects of daily business and operations while maintaining the management direction of the community association
  • Oversee related service contractors and vendors, interact with community residents and volunteers
  • Maintains all association records as required by the governing documents, federal and state law and CCMC protocol
  • Provides confidential administrative support to Community Manager which may include drafting and proofreading correspondence, daily monitoring of in/out boxes and mail correspondence
  • Monitoring completion of maintenance and landscape projects, generating work orders as needed
  • Works with division accounting department to ensure proper documentation of contracts, invoices and other expenses
  • Perform daily office functions ensuring that the needs and requests of the residents are dealt with in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist the Community Manager with developing and administration of the annual operating and reserve budgets
  • Assist in orientation and training of Board(s) and committee members
  • Attendance at monthly Board meetings and member Annual meetings required
  • Attendance at other meetings may be required from time to time as requested by the Community Manager.

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Two years of proven career advancement in a professional business environment
  • Associate’s or Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and a customer focused attitude
  • Ability to multi-task on a variety of levels with the utmost of focus and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent people skills and proven ability to maintain working relationships with residents, contractors and volunteers
  • Organized and efficient in work ethic in fast pace environment
  • Excellent time management and conflict resolution skills
  • Computer skills including basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and internet functions
  • Be able to work longer than an eight-hour day or a forty-hour week; must be able to respond to after-hours emergencies as necessary
  • Have a valid driver’s license and current vehicle liability insurance
  • Prefer two years of community management/supervisory experience

About The Community

 

Gateway is a 2,000-acre, master-planned development in Forney, Texas offering families and businesses a peaceful setting in which to live, work and play. Luxury multi-family communities, retail, office and entertainment venues on the north side of US 80 are linked by the new $23 million Gateway Bridge to light commercial, office and a single-family residential neighborhoods called Gateway Parks on the south side via Gateway Boulevard.
