Part Time Onsite Porter / Cleaner - hours =
Monday, Wednesday, Friday = 8a.m.- 12pm
Pool deck and surrounding area
- Scrub and sanitize poolside shower walls and floor, including the rubber floor mats.
- Clean pool furniture with the appropriate cleaner/sanitizer
- Clean and wash down pool deck area, including under the gazebo with the appropriate cleaner.
- Sweep steps going down into the pool pump room and clean debris off of the top of the pump room roof.
- Clean pool gates of dirt and fingerprints with the appropriate cleaner.
Laundry Room
- Wipe down washers, dryers, sink, window sills and tables with the appropriate cleaner.
- Sweep and wash floors with the appropriate cleaner. Apply polish as needed to maintain glossy floor finish.
- Clean ceiling fan as needed.
Entrance Portals
- Vacuum and sweep carpeting free of debris. Floor scrubber as needed.
Parking areas
- Sweep and pick up debris in all parking areas. Blower will not be used.
Mailboxes
- Clean freestanding mailboxes with the appropriate cleaner.
Public Restrooms (2)
- Clean/sanitize toilets, sinks, floors and mirror with appropriate cleaners.
- Kingston Arms to supply toilet paper and paper towels for restrooms.
Elevator
- Wipe down elevator walls, including control panel and door.
- Clean floor mat by removing and shaking out dirt/debris.
Walkways
- Clean walkways of debris. Remove stains as needed.
Friday
Handrails
- Wipe down all stair rails/handrails with appropriate cleaner.
Walkways and Stairwells
- Units 15 – 26 scrub with appropriate cleaner and wash/rinse with hose and nozzle. This is to be done on both floors for these units.
- Wash down all other walkways and stairwells for the remaining units with the appropriate cleaning solution, using a hose and nozzle. This will be done for both floors.
Elevator, Pool Area, Laundry Area the 2 Public Restrooms
- As these areas are thoroughly cleaned on Tuesday, simple and routine pickup is all that should be required on Friday. inspect these locations and maintain as needed.
Notes The focus on Friday, as well as the most time consuming, will be the wash down of the walkways and stairwells. When I arrive in the morning, I will do a quick inspection of the Elevator, Pool Area, Laundry Room and the 2 Public Restrooms and clean accordingly.
- Other Minor maintenance issues as needed
- High school degree or GED required
- Must be able to speak, read and write English, bilingual is a plus.
- Must be a proficient problem-solver.
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general.
- Must have general “handy man” tools and skill to repair needed items.
