Position Overview:
The Marketing Specialist will primarily support the Celebration Non-Residential Owners Association (CNOA) by developing and executing targeted marketing strategies for the business community. Reporting to the Communications Manager, this role involves promoting CNOA businesses through engaging content, robust social media campaigns, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will also provide limited support to the Celebration Residential Owners Association (CROA) for select communications and events.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- CNOA Business-Focused Marketing & Social Media (75%-80%):
- Act as the primary marketing liaison for all Non-Residential CNOA businesses, meeting with business owners to understand their marketing needs and provide tailored support.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies to promote CNOA businesses through social media, digital advertising, and print materials.
- Create compelling digital content (including videos, graphics, and promotional materials) for CNOA’s businesses, restaurants, and events, highlighting their contributions to the Celebration community.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns for CNOA across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
- Engage directly with the local community and businesses on social media, fostering conversations and responding to comments to reflect Celebration’s vibrant environment.
- Attend community and business events outside of regular hours as needed to gather promotional content and build relationships.
- Website Directory Management:
- Manage and optimize the CNOA business directory on WordPress, ensuring listings are accurate, current, and SEO-friendly.
- Regularly update the website with relevant content regarding CNOA Non-Residential businesses and community events.
- Communications Support (20%-25%):
- Assist with content creation and editing for the Celebration News Magazine, focusing on business-related content and external communications that promote CNOA businesses.
- Support external communications, including press releases, newsletters, and announcements targeted to residents and stakeholders.
- Maintain synergy between business and residential marketing efforts to ensure consistent messaging aligned with Celebration Town Hall’s communication goals.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Track social media engagement and performance metrics, using insights to refine content strategies and enhance campaign reach.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation, particularly focused on business promotion.
- Proficiency with Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), Canva, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite recommended.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social) is required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content that resonates with both businesses and the local community.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Celebration community and its Non-Residential businesses is a plus.

$49,000 - $52,000 annually, depending on education and experince
