Responsible for performing general maintenance of buildings and grounds at HOA residential communities, under direction of the Maintenance Director.
Duties include
- Oversees and handles all CPOA (Cordillera Property Owners Association) facility maintenance for the Cordillera Athletic Center (ACC), Trailhead, Post Office and Cordillera Vail Gondola Club
- Coordinates and liaises with vendors/contractors as needed
- Handles all construction details outside of contractor’s duties
- Schedules and handles all maintenance for CPOA facilities
- Handles all vendor invoicing and payment for facilities in conjunction with Residential Services Coordinator
- Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Facility inspections and handlings
- Documentation and record keeping for punch list items
- Assist GM with facilities budgeting
- Available on an on-call basis for emergencies as needed
- Responsible for ongoing maintenance operations and general repair of all facilities
- Performs systematic checks and inspections of facilities proactive maintenance program to prevent breakdowns, malfunctions, and general depreciation
- Assists in maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy work environment for all staff and homeowners
- All other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management
This position is not remote
Qualifications
- 2+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with Carpentry, Concrete, Doors, Drywall, Fencing, Plumbing and Painting required.
- Experience with Cleaning, Locks and Gutters highly desired.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual a plus.
- Must be a proficient problem-solver.
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general.
- Experience and skills with simple electric maintenance is a plus, but not necessary.
- Pool maintenance experience is a plus, but not necessary.
