Part time - 8 hours per day Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1000 AM to 600 PM (Subject to change based on business needs)
The Lifestyle Coordinator is primarily responsible for identifying, coordinating, and marketing all resident programs including recreational, social, travel, cultural, educational and entertainment designed to enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy of the community for residents. Responsibilities encompass program development, wellness and fitness programs, facility scheduling, administration of clubs, and overall program promotion, publicity, and marketing.
- Plan, coordinate and implement resident programs, classes and special community-wide event/s. Secure all entertainment, food, decorations, and items necessary to carry out event/s. In planning, solicits input and involvement from residents to stimulate participation and awareness of the robust and facilitated lifestyle opportunities available.
- Assist residents, chartered clubs, and community organizations in the scheduling of Association facilities, to include program and room requirements, coordination with other Association departments and arrangements for the collection of fees as applicable.
- Assess overall success of event/s through focus groups and evaluations.
- Manage the Association Facebook page (if applicable)
- Knowledge and understanding of the budget.
- Work with residents to assist in the establishment of chartered clubs. Helps in the application for charter process, assignment of facility space, development and promotion of programs, file maintenance and acts as a general overseer.
- Partners with the Regional Lifestyle Director to identify, coordinate and market all community events, programs, and services.
- Oversees all Lifestyle events, classes, and customer service meet the needs of the residents.
- Oversee the New Resident Orientation presentations to ensure adequate promotion, room set-up, amenities, and community participation.
- Meets with upper management (Regional Lifestyle Director, CAM and Food and Beverage – if applicable) weekly so all departments are on the same page.
- Attend Board of Directors meetings, club and committee meetings as required.
- Provide weekly Lifestyle Newsletter to Community Members.
- Assists Community Manager as needed.
- Perform all other duties as directed.
- Working hours As required (weekends and some holidays)
- Assits Community Association Manager with administration/clerical duties as needed.
- Monitor pool area and enforce rules/regulations as necessary.
Qualifications
- Good organizational and verbal skills.
- Computer skills including basic knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays.
- Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances.
- Must be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting from the proper performance of duties.
- Personal vehicle required; standard mileage reimbursement provided.
- Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 50lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. constantly.
- Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Pay - $18.00 to $20.00 hour based upon experience
