The Landscape Coordinator, with overall supervision from the General Manager, manages the landscaping services within a 1,433 residential home community located in Lake Nona.
The coordinator will spend their time working in the field, and in the office, with residents and the HOA team.
Coordinator Job Duties
- Manage all aspects of the agreement including base maintenance operations (mowing, edging detail trimming), irrigation, agronomics, seasonal color, mulch installation, palm & tree pruning and any ancillary services.
- Communicate to the Landscape Contractor any problem areas and work to find immediate resolution and maintain detailed records of those deficiencies.
- Take ownership of responding to all resident inquiries and complaints for landscaping and irrigation matters.
- Monitor the Landscape Contractor’s work order system each day to guarantee work orders are responded to and completed within a timely manner.
- Perform routine landscape audits on homeowner lots identifying any governing document compliance issues and prepare violation notices.
- Participate in weekly production meetings and engage to benefit from discussions.
- Collaborate with the Landscape ‘Branch/Project Manager’, and field personnel regularly.
- Confirm plants are suitable for application as per drawings and specs prior to the commencement of work.
- Identifies and develops opportunities for enhancements of existing landscapes.
- Manage association’s landscaping and irrigation assets, including, but not limited to, equipment and materials and ensure that good housekeeping and preventative maintenance practices are followed.
- Oversee crew schedules and routes with a focus on efficiency.
- Routinely attends Board of Director Meetings.
- Provides ad hoc reports to management as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Candidates should have some knowledge of lawn and ornamental horticulture, fertilization, and irrigation. Experience working with residential communities is preferred.
