The Vista Gardens Janitorial Attendant will report to the assigned Community Association Manager(s).
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outdoor Cleaning, including the removal of spider webs and pest nests
- Operate Blower to remove debris
- Walkways
- Stairwells
- Side Entrance Walkways
- Brushing/Sweeping of
- Walkways
- Walls and Ceilings
- Soffit Overhangs and Drainpipes
- Railings and Stairwells
- Water Heater Room
- Storage Room(s)
- Laundry Room(s)
- Mail Room
- Mopping
- Water Heater Room
- Storage Room(s)
- Laundry Room(s)
- Wipe/Wash Down
- Mail Room Mailboxes, Shelves, Bulletin Boards
- Walkway Lamps
- Rails on Walkways and Stairwells
- Maintain/Replace Yellow Sleeves over Walkway Light Bulb as needed
General Functions
- Complete Daily/Weekly/Monthly Checklists
- Maintain and Store Chemicals as per Regulatory Requirements
- Proper Care and Maintenance of Equipment and Supplies
- Bending/Squatting/Walking/Possible Heavy Lifting
Administrative Functions
- Review and Complete Workorders/Checklists/Reports
- Operate App for Daily Time Recording
- Communicate Needs and Concerns to the CAM, including potential safety hazards
Miscellaneous
- Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Read and comply with the Real Manage and Keystone Property Management Group’s Employee Handbooks.
- Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as directed by Management.
- Perform and or participate in any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties/tasks as assigned by Management.
- High school degree or GED required
- Must be able to speak, read and write English, bilingual is a plus.
- Must be a proficient problem-solver.
- Must know how to use tools, supplies, materials, chemicals in a manner that does not endanger self, other employees, residents, the environment or the public in general.
- Must have general “handy man” tools and skill to repair needed items.
