Onsite Housekeeping - part time (PFL2023-5645)

This is a part time position of 5 hours for 5 days a week - night shift.

General cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizing and cleaning guest rooms and public areas of lodge
• General cleaning of guest rooms
• Make up guest beds
• Take all linens and towels to be cleaned
• Keep floors and carpets clean throughout the lodge and guest rooms
• Maintain stock levels for towels, toilet paper, tissues, etc.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other work areas so that health standards are met
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampoos
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste disposal areas
• Works evenings, holidays, and weekends on a rotating basis
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical, Mental And Visual Skills

Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues.

Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas, write and read member communication.

Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 60 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently and up to 10 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.

Working Conditions

Works indoor/outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp

utensils, harmful chemicals and or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.

• Must be physically capable of lifting/emptying refuse cans and have the ability to maneuver large, main trash-chute collection receptacles.
