Responsibilities

  • Responsible for answering the telephones, and meeting and greeting incoming residents, guests, and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Responds to questions asked at the front desk and answers incoming calls. Directs questions and calls to the General Manager (GM) as needed.
  • Accept all packages and log them into the package tracking system.
  • Sends out emails to the residents at the direction of the GM when there is any disruption to building services such as water shut offs, elevators out of order, and the like.
  • Calls vendors at the direction of the GM when their services are required.
  • Monitors all the security cameras throughout the shift and notifies the GM if any issues are noted.
  • Addresses any parking or door security issues caused by vendors, guests, or owners.
  • Maintains a daily activity report that is reviewed by the GM.
  • Provides orientation to new guards assigned to this site by the third-party vendor (Securitas) but does not supervise them.
  • Is on the after-hours emergency call list as a back-up to the GM.
  • Guest Rooms:
    • Tracks owner’s guest room reservations.
    • Inspect the guest rooms after their use to make sure they are ready for the next reservation and inform the GM if additional cleaning or repairs are necessary.
    • Bills guest room charges to the owner’s unit account through Ciranet, which is reviewed by the GM.
  • Enters work orders into Ciranet for review and action by the GM.
  • Ensures the front desk is always neat and presentable.
  • Each day deliver the newspapers to the front doors of the few owners with subscriptions. This task is also done by the weekend/holiday day shift guards.

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Previous customer related experience required
  • Previous concierge experience preferred
  • Must possess a professional presentation
  • Must possess outstanding guest services skills and sophisticated verbal & written communication skills
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Pay and Benefits:

$25.00 - $30 per hour
