The Community Patrol Officer (CPO) will control access to Verandah Property and Residents, allowing entrance to properly authorized individuals.
Responsabilities
- Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to local authorities.
- Monitors Gatehouse surveillance cameras and inspects gates and amenities.
- Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
- After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure Verandah Gates and amenities are secure.
- Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property and reports to local authorities.
- Calls local authorities if needed to discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Time management the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Pay and Benefits
$15.00 to $16.00, depending on education and experience.
