Job Purpose

 

The Community Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Assistant Community Association Manager in various projects related to Community Patrol Department and the community of Verandah.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Assist with staff training to improve knowledge, response time and customer service.
  • Work directly with Assistant Manager, overseeing daily operations and special projects assigned to the Community Patrol Department.
  • Collaborate with Administrative Office on Enforcement and ARC Projects.
  • Coordinates all law enforcement reports.
  • Monitors Gatehouse surveillance cameras.
  • Review all Daily Activity Reports and report any situations or concerns to appropriate department or manager.
  • Coordinates the registration of residents and guests.
  • Responds to resident inquiries regarding gate access system.
  • Processes lease contracts to grant access to tenant.
  • Responsible for the registration of all resident vehicles.
  • Coordinate vendor access communication.
  • Process insurance updates for patrol vehicle coverage.
  • Coordinate resident educational seminars.
  • Responsible for creating resident communication updates regarding gate system changes.
  • Maintaining Data of resident information in the gate access system.
  • Assist in the coordination of maintenance project.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Requirements and Qualifications

 

Requires a valid Florida driver’s license and high school diploma, College a plus, not required.

 

Requires good management, leadership, customer service, organizational and written and verbal communicative skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues.

 

Requires general knowledge of and the ability to utilize computer software and hardware.

 

Must have outstanding telephone and personal relations skills and interact with residents’ guests and other service providers.

 

Excellent report writing skills.

 

Maintain a good working relationship with all vendors.

 

Continuously train and improve customer service.

 

Maintain a clean working environment.

 

Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 20 lbs. constantly. Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting, and grasping.

 

Pay and Benefits

As a Onsite Community Association Director you are the key ambassador of RealManage / Walters. You will manage the daily operations of a community association delivering professional services in accordance with the service level agreement. You are responsible for customer satisfaction and assisting the community association Board of Directors with promoting community harmony, enforcing deed restrictions, and increasing the value of a community.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage all operations for a community association
  • Provide administrative, operational and managerial advice to Board of Directors
  • Direct the enforcement of community rules and restrictions
  • Promote community harmony
  • Assist the board with hiring contractors and insurance carriers to maintain and protect the community
  • Oversee and approve payment of vendors providing service to community association
  • Develop community association budget and provide delivery/presentation of financial reports
  • Attend board meetings and deliver presentations as needed
  • plus other work related tasks as required

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of two-years in HOA property management; CMCA or state-equivalent certifications desired
  • Customer service focused; CAMs service their client on a daily basis
  • Listening skills CAMs need to listen to the problems of a client and provide a solution to meet the requests of the client
  • Proactive CAMs must proactively communicate with their client, team members, and superiors
  • Management CAMs must manage the budget, operations, schedules of a community association

Pay and Benefits

 

$55,000 to $65,000, depending on education and experience.
