The Athletic Club of Cordillera is located at the summit of Cordillera. This is a 16,000 square foot facility boasting expanded cardo, weight rooms, new yoga studio, new outdoor spa, fully renovated salt water indoor swimming pool and views from an elevation of 8550 feet. This one-of-a-kind private Athletic Center only available to homeowners of the Cordillera community.

We are looking for a dedicated customer service-oriented Athletic Center Supervisor to join our team! Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for homeowners upon Athletic Club entry
  • Ensure all homeowners and guests sign in upon entry to the AC
  • Is up-to-date and has knowledge of all fitness classes, their descriptions and can assist homeowners with questions
  • Has general knowledge of and can assist homeowners with signing up for fitness classes
  • Keeps abreast of community calendar and events to answer questions and assist homeowners
  • Daily use of software programs
  • Responsible for testing chemical levels in the Pool and Hot Tub. Communicate irregularities to the appropriate CPO certified staff.
  • Performing housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness of the space.
  • Daily operating procedures, paying close attention to the details of the AC in regard to cleanliness/organization/walkthrough/attending the pool
  • Problem solves/resolves homeowner issues within authoritative level and directs bigger issues to upper management
  • Takes initiative and prefers a team-oriented work environment
  • Knows and helps AC Manager to manage AC rules and regulations, including guest policy.
  • Supervisory Task: Monitors supply levels and notifies Management when orders are needed.
  • Supervisory Task: Produce and maintain the weekly staff schedule for Athletic Center Attendants.
  • Supervisory Task: Train Athletic Center Attendants on the tasks required and continue training process throughout their employment.
  • Supervisory Task: Ensure checklist and procedures are completed properly by all staff and notify management when items are not completed as required.
  • Supervisory Task: Monitor effectiveness of processes and procedures in place and when changes are needed, work with Management to implement procedural changes.
  • Others tasks assigned by manager

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior Customer Service Experience
  • Must pass background checks
  • Prior customer service/hospitality experience
  • 5-star attitude and warm and friendly personality; outgoing without being overbearing, possessing a pleasant and caring manner with everyone.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English; to follow oral and written instructions and to memorize necessary information.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work rapidly and quickly during rush periods.
  • A team player able to work well with others.
  • Organized and proactive with great attention to detail.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Able to work weekends.
  • Must be able to work holiday weeks unless otherwise approved by General Manager

Pay = $24 to $25/hour depending on education and experience
