The Website Onboarding Specialist takes the lead role in creating AppFolio customer websites and successfully driving website project from start to finish. Ideal candidates have a passion for customer satisfaction, an affinity for details and web design, a high capacity for project management, possess a record of independent action and excellent judgment, and value building extraordinary relationships with customers and team members.



Your Impact

  • Manage a high-paced, continuous queue of AppFolio website customers. Collaborate with these customers to translate their preferences and business goals into effective, expertly-designed websites.
  • Play a lead customer-facing role and manage customer relationships to ensure successful delivery of AppFolio-hosted websites month over month.
  • Define project deliverables, set timelines, follow up with clients, and resolve website content and technical issues to ensure timely completion of all projects.
  • Effectively translate customer preferences & business goals into clean website design, logo creation, business branding, content organization, etc.
  • Expertly consult on best practices for website navigation/organization, DNS, SEO, and ADA, branding, font, photo, and color choices.
  • Master content management systems to build and maintain websites.
  • Responsible for creating and editing web content as needed, including image editing, proofreading copy for quality and accuracy, and ensuring adherence to style guidelines and technical specifications.
  • Manage an independent queue while also contributing to a dynamic, supportive team environment through side projects, team events/learnings, and daily collaboration.
  • Other duties as requested.


Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer relationship-building and account management skills
  • Talent to match product features with customer goals and determine best path to success for both customer and company

  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a high-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to follow through on tasks until completed and adhere to deadlines with high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle many concurrent projects and complete tasks in a timely manner with precision, using independent judgment to accomplish goals


Must have

  • BA/BS degree
  • Experience creating, deploying and updating websites
  • 1+ years Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator desirable
  • 1+ years Experience with CRM preferrable (e.g. Salesforce)
  • 1+ years Experience with Website Editor, Duda preferred (others: Wix, Squarespace, Wordpress, etc.)
  • 2+ years Experience in customer service (including support, troubleshooting, training, account management, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, cloud-based tools, etc.


Compensation & Benefits

The hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is $21.00 - $26.50/hour.

The actual hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
