The Onboarding Specialist I, Payments & Screening role is a blend of dedicated customer service and focused project management skills. You will work with a driven and collaborative team to provide distinctive service and product expertise to our customers, and support their business needs with the use of our Payments & Screening services.

Your impact

Provide a smooth and efficient onboarding experience assisting our customers in setting up AppFolio’s Online Payments & Screening platforms for their business.
Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for clients during the implementation of core software and value added services while conducting regular project meetings to review goals, share milestones, and ensure progress is being made at every stage of the project.
Develop and hone your business acumen & use customer service expertise to provide our customers with an effortless, joyful, and personalized customer experience helping them realize the value of their investment on day one.
As part of our team, you’ll have the chance to work both independently and cross collaboratively with members of the Onboarding, Underwriting, and Compliance teams to ensure customer success.
Proactively identify and mitigate project risks to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.

Previous customer service industry experience with a strong service orientation.

Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.


Must have

BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and the Google Suite.
Advanced proficiency with technology, experience using SalesForce is a plus.


Compensation & Benefits

The base hourly wage that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $21 - $26.50

The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.

Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
