Job Description

Associa Chicagoland is seeking a qualified, licensed on-site Community Association Manager in Chicago. This position will oversee four vintage, high-end properties located in the Streeterville neighborhood. The properties include three co-ops and one condominium, each governed by its own Board of Directors. The ideal candidate should be professional in appearance, able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain positive relationships with owners, residents, board members, and coworkers. Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Prepare requests for proposals
  • Perform weekly property inspections for reporting requirements
  • Produce a monthly action list
  • Process invoices
  • Perform quality control of vendor’s performance
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors and committee members
  • Understanding of association governing documents
  • The candidate must be extremely organized & have the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Managing people
  • Preparation and presentation of budgets
  • Routine architectural knowledge and inspections are a plus
  • Coordinate and attend board meetings as contractually required
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Service bids and contractor supervision
  • Produce Management reports and prepare agendas for Board Meetings
  • Be available for after-hour emergency maintenance calls for assigned communities

Requirements

Requirements, including but not limited to:

  • Must be licensed as a Community Association Manager through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
  • Prefer CMCA or PCAM designations
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Possess excellent communication skills combined with a thoroughly professional presentation Strong customer service orientation
  • A team player with good business skills
  • Someone who is self-motivated and who will go the extra mile for our company and our clients
  • Prior experience in your community or HOA is a plus
  • Possess an ability to read and understand a financial report
  • 3+ years of on-site high-rise management experience
  • Must have experience supervising union employees
  • Must have experience supervising multiple departments
  • Must have experience with capital improvements
