Job Description

Associa Chicagoland is recruiting for a qualified full-time on-site Community Association Manager. The position would consist of half of the manager’s time at one on-site location and the other half working on-site at a second association under the same master association. This schedule will benefit the candidate with a flexible work schedule, and flexible hours on days that the employee can telecommute. The on-site location is within walking distance to our downtown corporate office giving the candidate the ability to utilize this resource often.

The ideal candidate must present professionally, work independently and with minimal supervision. Will maintain a positive business relationship with all owners, residents, board members, and coworkers. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare requests for proposals
  • Perform monthly or bi-monthly property inspections for reporting requirements
  • Produce a monthly action list
  • Process invoices
  • Perform quality control of vendor’s performance
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors
  • Understanding of association governing documents
  • The candidate must be extremely organized & have the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Manage people
  • Preparation and presentation of budgets
  • Routine architectural knowledge and inspections are a plus
  • Coordinate and attend board meetings monthly
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Service bids and contractor supervision
  • Be available for after-hour emergency maintenance calls for the property
  • Produce Management reports and prepare agendas for Board Meetings

Requirements

  • Only licensed Community Association Managers through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation should apply
  • Possess excellent communication skills combined with a thoroughly professional presentation
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • A team player with good business skills
  • Someone who is self-motivated and who will go the extra mile for our company and our clients
  • Possess an ability to read and understand a financial report
  • 3 years experience as a condominium community association manager preferred or 5 years experience as an assistant manager or equivalent in a high-rise condominium
