Are you a GREAT teammate? Do you LOVE providing care and compassion for the elderly? Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a part time Medication Technician, a key position in our Ellicott City location. As part of the Wellness team, you will be responsible for assisting residents in various daily basic life activities, a leader on the floor with the ability to make decisions. Current CMT with 2 years’ experience passing medications required, in return we'll provide a competitive salary with bonus opportunities, paid holidays, Sick Time, and opportunity for growth. Plus, the best residents! Hourly rate starting at $17.00 with room for experience. We have 1 opening at each shift (3p-11p, 11p-7a) with rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and administers oral, nasal, eye, ear, and topical medications, in accordance with the facility’s policies and procedures and state law
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living for residents.
- Maintains security of the medication cart (i.e., locked when not in sight)
- Demonstrates knowledge of all medications administered including side effects
- Adhere to the five rights of medication administration: right resident, right dose, right route, right time, right medication.
