You’ll craft data-driven, human-centered stories while maintaining the highest production standards.

This is an in-person role based in Goleta, CA, and it requires strong technical expertise, creative vision, and the ability to collaborate across teams. Travel is required for location shoots.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning to final delivery.
  • Produce and direct on-location and in-studio videos and photoshoots, ensuring smooth, high-quality production with professionalism.
  • Edit and refine videos, incorporating basic motion graphics to enhance storytelling.
  • Oversee the entire production process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Studio and Marketing teams, cross-departments, and external vendors to produce, shoot, and expand production capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Highly technical skills in all aspects of media, with a strong focus on production and editing.
  • 5+ years of video production experience, with a proven track record of managing projects from pre-production to final delivery.
  • 5+ years of experience in on-site location shoots and studio production, with expertise in sound, lighting, and camera operation.
  • Experience with multi-camera setups, live production, or high-end equipment is valued.
  • Strong editing skills (preferably in Adobe Premiere Pro) are required, as well as basic knowledge of motion graphics (preferably After Effects).
  • Proficient in cinema cameras, particularly Blackmagic (URSA, Pocket Cinema) with expertise in RAW/log workflows, sensor types, lens selection, and color grading for cinematic video production.
  • Excellent storytelling and interview skills, focusing on human-first, data-driven content.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple production schedules and meet deadlines on time and within budget.
  • Travel for shoots is required.
