Job Description
Sentry Management is seeking a Marking Manager to help plan and execute various marketing and communications programs including Sentry’s website, social media, direct mail, email, reputation management, sales support, public relations and other endeavors. In this role you will collaborate with team members in marketing, sales, and other support teams, as well as external vendors. This position will be based in our Longwood, FL office and will report to the Vice President of Corporate Marketing. A hybrid work model is possible. To be successful in this role, you should have strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve and implement department processes. A background in marketing/communications is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with marketing campaign management for direct mail, paid search campaigns, email campaigns, online directory listing updates, and other initiatives
- Update and maintain website content, including office information, blog posts, FAQs, and educational content
- Write original content as well as edit content from other stakeholders for use on social media, blog posts, website, training materials, collateral, and articles in industry publications
- Manage corporate social media accounts by developing content calendars, writing posts, and collaborating with creative team for graphics and video content
- Create content for email marketing campaigns for various departments including sales, acquisitions, training, and customer experience and track/report results
- Work with creative team, sales team, and other support departments to develop and maintain standard marketing collateral, as well as occasional custom materials including proposals, brochures, promotional items, etc.
- Manage marketing materials, assets, and information made available to employees on internal company website
- Provide guidance to employees and stakeholders on the appropriate use of marketing tools and systems
- Assist with trade shows, including ordering supplies and materials, managing equipment inventory, arranging for transportation or shipping, and ensuring return of all equipment
- Assist with the planning and execution of large-scale company events
- Manage additional communication services offered to communities which may include websites, apps, newsletters, or others
- Maintain chapter memberships for industry organizations
- Assist division offices with requests as needed
- Help maintain the brand/brand identity/brand standards
- Team administrative support as needed
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field
- Five or more years of marketing experience in editing, proofing and general marketing skills
- Experience with marketing campaigns that include email, social media, print, direct mail, collateral, and other elements
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with creating content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to edit the work of others
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently while being extremely attentive to detail, and demonstrate clear ownership of projects while partnering closely with other in-house or off-site team members.
- Must be able to work and deliver results without close supervision, with strong project management skills including setting priorities, planning, organization, and follow-through
- Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balance multiple priorities and re-prioritize work as needed
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Experience with social media tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Facebook Business Suite, etc.
- Experience with an email campaign platform like MailChimp, Constant Contact, or Campaign Monitor
- Basic WordPress knowledge
