Job Description
The Dartmouth Group, an Associa company, is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in for its community in Concord, MA,https://www.thedartmouthgroup.com/.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance duties of Associations involving mostlyexterior carpentry, painting, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs and minor roofing repairs in addition toother exterior responsibilities to guarantee that the communities we manage are properly and safelymaintained.
Daily responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate.
- Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that the building is properly maintained.
- Clean and repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters and drains. Power wash as needed.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on systems & equipment as needed.
- Maintain maintenance and inspection reports, attend meetings, and provide update on status of work orders.
- Maintain routine, preventative and capital X maintenance schedules.
- Assist maintenance vendors and contractors as needed.
- Maintain entrance gates, pond motors, grounds signage, winterize and de-winterize community.
- Other duties as requested.
Requirements
- 3+ years of residential maintenance experience.
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken).
- Customer service focused, team oriented, reliable, dependable, proactive, and takes initiative.
- Knowledge of general maintenance requirements, (documentation, safety, required reporting,regulations, etc.),electrical and plumbing codes and maintenance requirements, (documentation,safety, required reporting, regulations, etc.),OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements, andState or local governmental safety requirements.
- Self motivated, time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- Valid driver's license is required.
