Description
Position Summary:
Responsible for loading, transporting, delivering, setting up, and taking down equipment, supplies, and material associated with events, programs, and activities provided to homeowner association members. This includes coordination with the master developer, home builders, contractors, vendors, government agencies, merchants, suppliers, and volunteers within a residential Homeowner’s Association (HOA).
Position Responsibilities
Provide logistical input and support for lifestyle programs to ensure that activities, events, and information are well organized and communicated.
Maintain association rolling stock and equipment in good working order.
Ensure that all event program and activity equipment is clean and in working order before a scheduled event.
Ensure that utility connections are available and operational at the event venue prior to the event with sufficient time to coordinate a contractor for inspection or repair through the General Manager.
Ensure that irrigation water is turned off, if necessary, before a scheduled event and turned back on after the event.
Ensure requested signage is installed at the event venue.
Load HOA-owned truck/trailer from an inventory storage location, transport to the event venue, unload and set up tables, tents, chairs, stage, dance floor, sound equipment, ice chests, hand-washing stations, movie screen, snack machines, games, and recreational elements, etc. At the end of the event, take down all event program and activity equipment, materials, and supplies at the event venue, reload the HOA-owned truck/trailer, and transport them back to an inventory storage location.
Assist the Lifestyle Director and all contract vendor support throughout a scheduled event and provide support as needed.
Ensure all programs and activities are implemented according to relevant policies and procedures.
Receive deliveries and assist with pickup and delivery of purchased items from local merchants to the inventory storage location, association office, or event venue as directed.
Organize inventory storage if requested.
Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance.
Set up basic audio and visual equipment, including speakers and projectors.
Perform duties necessary to ensure facilities meet all cleanliness and safety standards.

Possess skill and ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
Works indoors and outdoors.
Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat and bend.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, in crowded areas and in confined spaces.
Ability to work on uneven surfaces, in hot, cold, and wet conditions, climb and stand on ladders.
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds multiple times a day.
Able to handle various manual and power tools.
May work independently or as part of a team.
