Action is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Woodside Homeowners Association located in Sacramento.
Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining and repairing the common areas and amenities of the HOA community. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
What You'll Do (Job Duties)
- Preventative Maintenance:
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify potential issues.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as changing filters, lubricating equipment, and inspecting systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Reactive Maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or property management.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
- Replace damaged or worn-out components as needed.
Common Area Maintenance
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas, including landscaping, walkways, and amenities.
- Repair damage to common area features.
Emergency Response
- Respond to emergency situations such as leaks, power outages, or security breaches.
- Take immediate action to mitigate damage and ensure the safety of tenants.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Ensure timely completion of work and adherence to quality standards.
Who You Are (Skills/Experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of Maintenance experience, preferably in hospitality or property management
- EPA 608 Universal preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Hands on experience or course work in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, and Drywall is highly desired
$23 - $33 an hour
Compensation: $ 23.00- $ 33.00 per hour
