Job Description

The Maintenance Technician position is for Associa's South Florida Branch, Marquis Association Management. Marquis is a boutique property management provider that works exclusively with Luxury High Rise and Mid Rise Condominiums and Developer Properties.

The focus of the position will be to conduct the day to day Ultra Luxury High Rise condominium maintenance and upkeep, including but not limited to;

  • HVAC System Maintenance
  • MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) upkeep and repair
  • Leak Repair
  • Pool Maintenance
  • Fire and Security system troubleshooting
  • Cooling Tower Knowledge
  • Heating Pumps knowledge
  • Sheet rock repair & painting
  • All general and preventive maintenance

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician with some exposure to Residential Condos or Hotel/Resort Type properties or similar environment that requires good hospitality and customer service skills.

  • 3+ years verifiable building maintenance experience required
  • Hands on knowledge of HVAC, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and General Maintenance
  • Any certifications/licenses in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, EPA Refrigerant etc. are a strong plus.
  • Preventative Maintenance Tasks including accurate tracking and paperwork
  • Knowledge of Cooling Towers, Boilers, Pump Rooms, Domestic Pumps, all Mechanical and Life Safety Equipment a strong plus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment with ability to prioritize work orders with assistance of Maintenance Supervisor
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Polite with experience working in a residential community
  • Team player
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and be on-call as needed.
