Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation
- Installing sod, mulch, gravel, and other ground covers
- Pruning, trimming, and shaping trees and shrubs to enhance aesthetics and plant health
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems
- Adjusting sprinkler heads and controllers to ensure optimal water distribution
- Monitoring irrigation schedules to prevent overwatering or under-watering
- Troubleshooting and repairing leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning components
- Maintaining walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other hardscapes
- Repairing or replacing damaged pavers, bricks, or stones
- Ensuring proper drainage around hardscape features
- Performing basic repairs on landscaping tools and equipment
- Maintaining fences, garden structures, and outdoor fixtures
- Minor building maintenance including minor plumbing electrical repair
- Painting.

Working Conditions, Physical and Other Requirements
- Must have and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license to operate a golf cart and association vehicle. LOSS OF DRIVER’S LICENSE MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION
- Must be able to operate power tools, power washer and other maintenance equipment
- Ability to maintain punctual attendance. Notify supervisor in advance of ALL unscheduled time off
- Ability to perform the essential job functions, withstand outdoor heat exposure & strenuous physical activity, with full use of limbs & extremities, and unimpaired vision – within ADA guidelines for reasonable accommodations safely and successfully
- Ability to lift and carry between 60 lbs
- Ability to comply with OSHA standards (fall protection, ladder operation, lift/carry limits, etc.)
- Ability to operate a golf cart and association vehicle in a safe manner
- Ability to withstand outdoor heat exposure and strenuous physical activity
- Ability to use legs, arms, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, grasp, lift, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to see clearly and to listen, understand, and speak clearly on a telephone
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
