Join our Team! Leland Management is seeking a Maintenance Tech in the Orlando area. 1 | SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of all exterior buildings and outside common ground areas.

2 | MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspect outside Common Property daily.
  • Maintain chemical testing and logs on pool and wading pool.
  • Cleaning of pool decks as scheduled.
  • Clean exterior of common area facilities (Clubhouse, Tennis Pavilion.) on a quarterly basis or as needed.
  • Clean interior of common area facilities (Clubhouse, pool, and office restrooms.) on an as needed basis.
  • Treat common ground areas for mildew, weeds, and insect, (i.e. sidewalks, and buildings)
  • Report and make minor repairs to clubhouse.
  • Touch up paint and clean exterior stairs and railings as needed.
  • Able to use a ladder or lift safely up to 30 feet.
  • Inspect daily and replace light bulbs as needed in/on all buildings.
  • Drive maintenance carts on premises safely and slowly.
  • Keep grounds and parking lots clear of trash and debris.

3 | SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and provide reporting to manager on exterior maintenance.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of tennis courts, nets, windscreens and associated equipment.
  • Repair and maintain signage.
  • Assist in other tasks or projects as requested by management, designated Board Member or other employees.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Spanish
  • General knowledge of light construction work, i.e. drywall repairs, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • General knowledge of fire alarm systems, lighting, painting, pool maintenance
  • Organizational skills: Maintenance of workshop areas, inventory and supplies
  • Preventive maintenance of community's equipment
  • General knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Repair and maintain signage
  • Assist in other tasks or projects as requested by management or designated Board Member

4 | ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Reports directly to the property manager.
