Summary: Provides Maintenance-Janitorial duties for all facilities, to include both indoor and outdoor facilities of the community centers. This position will alternate between working indoors in a well-lighted, temperature-controlled work area, in an outdoor setting with variable climate and lighting. Effectively and efficiently work through interruptions and changes in priority matters.
Duties And Responsibilities
Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of driving a car and possess a valid driver's license.
Position involves sifting, standing and/or movement. Position requires the ability to exert a minimal force of up to 50 pounds and minimal force to carry, lift, push, pull, and otherwise move objects frequently.
Experience: One to three years of general working experience. Maintenance experience preferred.
Positive Traits and Skill Set: Must be self-motivated, flexible, organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize. Able to function effectively under stress and interruptions. Ability to delegate work efficiently.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Inspect outside Common Property daily.
- Assist with blowing off all debris from bocce courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, basketball court, horseshoe pits, playground, sidewalks, pool, and all parking lots as needed.
- Assist with pressure washing building exteriors, gutter/curbing, and pool decks as needed.
- Assist with pool deck furniture relocate/reset and cleaning.
- Pick up trash daily around facility buildings and common areas.
- Perform the necessary functions to maintain the cleanliness of the exterior of all facility buildings and common areas.
- Follow a preventive maintenance schedule for equipment
- Drive maintenance carts on premises safely and slowly.
- Repair and maintain signage where practical.
- Assist with the replacement of light bulbs as needed in/on all buildings.
- Assist with room set ups for activities and events.
- Complete work orders and follow up as assigned.
- Assist in other tasks or projects as requested by management

- Physical activities include balancing, climbing, crouching, crawling, fingering, grasping, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and writing.
- Ability to exchange and receive information through written and oral communications and make sound discriminations. Must be able to speak in a clear and understandable voice so that communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and skills.
- Physical ability to sustain movements, especially of the fingers, wrists, hands, or arms. Must be physically and intellectually capable of operating computer, printer, telephone, and various other types of business equipment
- May work extended hours and on weekends when required.
