Maintenance Assistant

Description

Primarily responsible for assisting with maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of pools, hot tub, water feature, common areas and light maintenance tasks.

Position Responsibilities

• Partners with the community manager and maintenance technician to maintain buildings, building systems, common areas and other physical assets on the property.
• Perform duties related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, dry wall, pressure washing, welding, pool maintenance, and any other maintenance needs.
• Assist with grounds work, which may include trash clean up, sweeping, landscaping, pressure washing, etc.
• Assist with maintenance of pools, spa, sauna, steam room, and water features, etc.
• Assist with maintenance of fire safety systems.
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
• Complete assigned maintenance service requests.
• Properly operate, maintain, and store all maintenance equipment.
• Perform other related duties as directed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Works indoors and outdoors.
• Requires physical ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, squat, and bend.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, in crowded areas and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work on uneven surfaces, in hot, cold, and/or wet conditions, climb and stand on ladders and scaffolding at heights of up to 50 feet.
• Able to handle various manual and power tools.
• Utilizing a computer in an office setting.
