Our Lifestyle Recreation Associates work with residents from every walk of life and help ensure their experience is truly memorable. In this role, you will be helping the Lifestyle team make sure their events start and end as smoothly as possible. This position is all about the resident experience and is an outstanding opportunity for someone who is interested in the event planning field!

About The Community

Desert Color is a master-planned community in Southern Utah and will be the second-largest community in the state at buildout. Desert Color is built around connectivity, community, and sustainability. Members, guests, and staff enjoy several amenities, including a 2.5-acre lagoon and half a mile of white-sand shoreline, an outdoor pool and spa, a rooftop deck, and miles of riding trails for walking, biking, scooters, and golf carts.

It is a place where you will find the best of everything that Southern Utah has to offer. Located alongside I-15 and Southern Parkway, Desert Color is built atop a 3,350-acre lot east of the interstate. It will feature residences, shopping, dining, entertainment, commercial, retail, hospitality, and recreation.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Assisting Lifestyle Director with designing, implementing, and promoting classes and events
  • Managing the facility use schedule
  • Entering into contracts for room rental on behalf of the association
  • Collecting funds and authorizing deposit refunds after facility inspection
  • Performing other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • An outgoing, customer-focused personality it a must!
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office / Adobe products
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-sufficiency and reliability
  • Ability to work outdoors as needed in a variety of conditions, stand for long periods of time, and lift 25 pounds
  • Flexibility, schedules can vary week to week depending on events
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
