Job Description

The Lifestyle Director is to act in accordance with the policies of the Board of Directors. This position organizes social activities for the benefit of the association and its residents.

Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm

Flexibility with evening and weekend events

Saturdays are required between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day weekend

One Friday per month is required

Responsibilities Include

Proposes, organizes and facilitates ongoing events and activities

Works closely with committees, clubs, and other groups; is responsive to their needs

Schedules all ongoing activities

Flexibility in occasional nights and weekends

With input and assistance from residents, plans special events, parties, programs and day trips

Contacts performers, negotiates and prepares contracts, and makes necessary arrangements for the program

Publicizes all activities and events; develops and maintains a calendar of events

Designs event flyers

Sends eblast regarding events

Explores new ideas and introduces new activities that interest the resident

Maintains Association social activity accounts

Prepares deposits for various clubs for planned events

Prepares monthly financial reports for various activity accounts

Participates in social committee meetings

Prepares a monthly report to the Manager/Lifestyle Supervisor that includes a schedule or planned social activities and a report of any problems

Oversees room sets ups for events

Performs other assigned activities as necessary for the smooth operation of the Association

Maintain community calendar with clubs, private events etc.

Work directly with the community manager

New Homeowner Orientation/clubhouse tour

Scheduling Lab Corp hours monthly

Provide assistance in learning various games

Maintain stocking of caf

Qualifications

Excellent written and oral communication skill

Friendly and helpful manner in interactions with residents

Strong organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Strong sense of customer service

Good organizational skills, attention to detail

High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Appropriate dress for an informal business environment (no T-shirts or jeans)
