Job Description
Job Title: Lifestyle Coordinator
Reports to: General Manager
Location: Chino, CA
Summary
The Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all volunteer members, vendors, on-site events and social media and web pages Implements new and creative events to excel membership attendance and family oriented activities within the community.
The job duties listed are typical examples of the work performed by positions in this job classification. Not all duties assigned to every position are included, nor is it expected that all positions will be assigned every duty.
- Maintain high-level customer service and hospitality both internally and externally.
- Partners with Facility, Fitness, & Activities Committee to create, manage and adhere to annual and homeowner events and budget, including monthly progress updates.
- Reviews and processes rental agreements and forms to ensure completion from each member and vendor.
- Manages the collection of all deposits, forms and fees for community events.
- Communicate with club members on the policies and guidelines pertaining to community room rentals, space and equipment.
- Ensure approved vendors are compliant with insurance requirements.
- Monitor and oversee the master community event and activities calendar as needed and ensure accuracy for posting on the community monitors and website.
- Create and implement survey tools and processes to identify resident interest for community event activities and recreational programs
- Communicate with supervisor and staff on all logistics involved for each event and stating the role each person is responsible for and follow through with meeting needs.
- Manage the maintenance and cleanliness of rooms, furniture and equipment used for each venue; both pre and post events.
- Monitor monthly expenditures of all community events, activities, recreational programs, etc. to ensure management of expenses, accurate coding and compliance to budget limits.
- Creates and updates event P&L reports for pre and post events.
- Handle internal and external complaints.
- Maintain vendor relations and ensure that service standards are maintained.
- Promote the communities current and upcoming events via newsletter, e-Blast and advertisements within the club house.
- Attend and participate in Board meetings as required
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.
- Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.
- Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
- May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.
- Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
- Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High School degree required. College Degree preferred.
- Recreation and/or management experience preferred.

- Demonstrates awareness of variables which could affect associate retention and/or morale.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher.
Tools & Equipment Used
- Must have a valid California driver’s license
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Must have State mandated vehicle insurance
- Office equipment; computers, printers, fax machine, etc.
Physical Requirements / Working Environment

- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift, push and move equipment and furniture.
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
- Talking and listening occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, guests, supervisors, associates, and vendors.
- Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in person in order to resolve issues related to the business.
- Must have finger dexterity for typing/using a keyboard.
- Must be mobile enough to move around the office and during outside events, including walking on uneven surfaces and standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to work with inside and outside environmental elements (noise, weather, etc.).
- Ability to work around pool equipment and chemicals.
