Job Description

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Lifestyle Coordinator will be coordinating and planning activities and use of the recreational facilities by residents and their guests. This individual has significant contact with residents, guests, contractors, outside groups and associations, and employees.

This is a full-time position - 40 hours per week. Will be required to attend functions and work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Developing, promoting, and coordinating recreation activities/programs including

contracted classes, seasonal events, and monthly social activities for residents and

their guests.

  • Publicize programs, events and neighborhood news via various social media

channels.

  • Assists in the production of quarterly newsletters, blog posts and weekly

communication to homeowners.

  • Coordinate clubhouse reservations including preparation of Area Reservation

agreements, collection of deposits and Certificates of Insurance, coordination of set

up, clean up, and any necessary deliveries.

  • Assists in responsibilities for the operation of the clubhouse and pool.
  • Responsible for maintaining organization of storage areas for all recreation supplies and assisting with supply inventory and ordering.
  • Administers the access control program, which includes the issuance of FOBS

and updates tracking software. Attends and participates in designated meetings or

functions as required by the General Manager or the Board of Directors.

  • Accommodates Resident requests expediently and courteously within 24 hours of

initial call.

  • Follows up with person assigned to task a to ensure completion of the request.
  • Supports and executes administrative tasks as directed by the Board of Directors and management
  • Performs routine inspections of facilities. Reports all suspicious activity to

proper authority to ensure continued resident safety.

  • Provide administrative support to General Manager and staff as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The pay for this position starts at $22 hourly or more depending on experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of related experience. Event planning or hospitality experience a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from residents,

vendors employees, and guests.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to design and prepare computer-generated flyers and posters for upcoming

events.

  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees, guests,

homeowners, and vendors, and resolve conflicts and problems courteously and

tactfully

  • Is highly organized and detailed oriented with a "can do" team player attitude.
  • Able to work independently and as a team and prioritizes daily workload efficiently

and professionally.

  • Demonstrates problem-solving abilities independently and responsibly.
