Summary:

The Lifestyle Assistant serves as the assistant to include recreational, cultural travel and entertainment designed to enrich the quality of life and enhance the vibrancy of the community for residents and or prospective homebuyers. Responsibilities encompass program development, scheduling of events, and overall program promotion and publicity. The Lifestyle Assistant ensures that all programs and services are conducted and fulfilled in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of the residents.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Plan, coordinate and implement resident programs, presentations and special community-wide events. In planning, solicits input and involvement from residents and/or prospects to stimulate participation and awareness of the robust and facilitated lifestyle opportunities that define the Pulte/Del Webb brand.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement program of all trips, shows, concerts, parties, activities and celebrations. Negotiate rates for tickets, bus trips, travel expenses and entertainment for parties and events. Collection of fees when applicable and disbursement of fees when applicable.
  • Oversee the promotion of all activities, events and trips. Seek feedback from Front Desk on events. Handle solutions to objectives on planned events and activities.
  • Plan, coordinate and implement fundraisers for local charitable organizations, annual expos, garage sales, recreational events with Senior Games.
  • Work closely with all Association Departments and employees to ensure proper set up and execution of all events to its entirety.
  • Maintain reservations for adequate enrollment to meet success and function of each event.
  • Recruit sponsors for events
  • Coordinate the development of the Association newsletter with the Communications Committee.
  • Oversee an active volunteer program providing for events and recognition throughout the year to include a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner.
  • Assist with other jobs and duties as necessary.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year related experience, preferably in HOA environment.
  • Microsoft Office programs (outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher)
  • General office equipment (copy machine, fax, postage machine, etc.)
  • Ability to keyboard a 50 wpm.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects, use time management skills and exercise independent judgment.
  • Intermediate mathematics, spelling and English writing skills.
  • Pleasant telephone voice with clear and concise pronunciation of words.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.
  • Strong internal/external customer relation skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees, homeowners, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with confidential/sensitive information and use diplomacy in communicating such information.
  • Effective calendar management and follow up skills.
  • Professional image or business image per policy.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently handle shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to operate equipment as defined by the position.
  • Valid Driver’s License

Minimum Education

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Language Skills

The individual must have strong written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with employees and clients at all levels of the organization.

Availability

Regular business hours and overtime as needed.

Working Environment

The Lifestyle Coordinator works in a well-lighted, clean environment. S/he constantly interacts with other people, and may have to handle several responsibilities at once. The Association maintains a smoke-free environment in its offices, buildings, and Clubhouse complex.
