Job Description

Associa Carolinas is looking for a part-time Lifestyle Assistant to work at of our active 55+ communities in the Fuquay-Varina area. This position will support the wellness initiatives as the community Activity Center.

The Lifestyle Assistant works with the management team, and in support of the Wellness Director, to ensure that residents have a variety of activities, events & fitness options to enjoy.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist the director in planning, coordinating, and implementing programs appropriate based on celebration or program topic.
• Work with community, instructors, site maintenance and other groups to ensure quality experiences.
• Identify activities, coordinate sites and instruction need and ensure community programs happen as scheduled.
• Plan, lead and motivate residents to participate in daily planned activities.
• Administrative Duties as assigned.
  
  

Requirements

• 1-2 years event and program planning experience
• Excellent communication skills: ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and basic IT equipment
• High school diploma or equivalent
