Description

You will be responsible for aligning with the policies of the Board of Directors while organizing engaging social activities for the benefit of the association and its residents. This role requires flexibility with evening and weekend events to ensure a vibrant community life, including mandatory attendance on Saturdays between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend.

Responsibilities

  • Propose, organize, and facilitate ongoing events and activities
  • Work closely with committees, clubs, and groups, responding to their needs
  • Schedule all ongoing activities
  • Plan special events, parties, programs, and day trips with input from residents
  • Contact performers, negotiate and prepare contracts, and make necessary arrangements for programs
  • Publicize all activities and events while maintaining an event calendar
  • Design event flyers and send eblasts regarding events
  • Explore new ideas and introduce activities that interest residents
  • Maintain Association social activity accounts and prepare deposits for various clubs
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for activity accounts
  • Participate in social committee meetings
  • Prepare monthly reports to the Manager/Lifestyle Supervisor regarding planned social activities and any issues
  • Oversee room setups for events
  • Perform other assigned activities as necessary for smooth operation of the Association
  • Maintain community calendar with clubs and private events
  • Work directly with the community manager
  • Conduct New Homeowner Orientation and clubhouse tours
  • Schedule Lab Corp hours monthly
  • Provide assistance in learning various games
  • Maintain stock levels in the café

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Friendly and helpful manner in interactions with residents
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong sense of customer service
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Appropriate dress for an informal business environment (no T-shirts or jeans)
