Job Purpose: The Accounting Implementation Lead at CINC Systems, supports a team of implementation specialists responsible for onboarding new clients onto our cloud-based accounting and property management platform. He/She ensures that implementations are executed with precision, aligning with client needs, industry best practices, and CINC’s commitment to excellence. This role requires a blend of accounting expertise, leadership and project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences. This role is a stepping stone to management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Mentor, coach, and develop a team of accounting implementation specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative, client-focused culture aligned with CINC’s core values.
  • In partnership with leadership, help manage team performance, provide mentorship, and support career development.
  • Serve in a player/coach capacity, meaning a blend of individual contributor and leadership tasks


Project Oversight

  • Oversee the successful implementation of CINC’s accounting platform for new clients, including HOAs and community association management companies.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.


Client Engagement

  • Serve as the escalation point for complex implementation issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their accounting workflows and tailor system configurations accordingly.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation to ongoing support.
  • Support change management efforts to drive adoption and satisfaction.


System & Process Expertise

  • Guide the team in configuring modules such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate data migration and system integration with banking partners and third-party tools.
  • Promote best practices in accounting and compliance within the CINC platform.


Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide feedback and influence roadmap priorities.
  • May assist with client’s initial month/year-end close or general ledger reconciliation.
  • May assist clients in adopting new accounting processes by assisting with daily reconciliation and other tasks.
  • Remain current on release updates and product knowledge for assigned products
  • Provide coordination and clear communication via phone, email, and SFDC on the case or other client implementation and support activities to both internal and external customers
  • Maintain implementation documentation repository as needed
  • Maintain a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction throughout the entire duration of the customer relationship


Minimum Requirements & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5–7+ years of experience in accounting or financial systems implementation.
  • Strong understanding of HOA/community association accounting is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP or accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Yardi, or similar).
  • Client-centric mindset with a passion for delivering value.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment.
  • Empathy, accountability, and a team-first attitude.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
