Landscape/Maintenance- Canyon Mesa (Sedona, AZ)
HOAMCO is seeking a full-time Landscape/Maintenance employee for Canyon Mesa, a community in Sedona, AZ. This employee requires a valid Arizona driver’s license, legal residency, be able to operate standard landscape equipment (blower chainsaw, weedwhacker, etc.), and have basic knowledge of landscape maintenance and irrigation.
JOB DUTIES:
- Maintain our ditch. This includes repairs, maintenance, and watering of lots between May 1 and October 1 each year. Understand the watering system and when in use, inspect the creeks pumps weekly and grease the pumps every two weeks.
- Mow the lots three times per year. This pertains only the lot areas that have not been improved with manicured lawns.
- Keep equipment in proper working order and serviced as needed. This equipment includes, but is not limited to a blower, UTV, weed whacker, chain saw, and miscellaneous tools.
- Supply all tools, equipment, and supplies required to perform the work under this Agreement, except to the extent that the Contractor’s work must be performed on or with the Company’s equipment.
- Maintain the roads, common area and those areas on each end of the entry bridge. This includes: spray and hand-pick weeds as needed, prune shrubs and trees, monitor irrigation and maintain the timers and irrigation system, adjust watering for time per year when needed, maintain front water feature/fountain, monitor landscape lighting, weed whacking along roads as needed, remove all trash along roads and in the common areas, clean and blow off roads, replenish gravel along road and entry area, clean culverts and repair drainage when needed.
- Maintain all internal walking paths.
- Fix and paint all the signs as needed.
- Monitor and report any concerns regarding the sewer treatment plant, pump house, and main water storage tank.
- Take direction from the Board representative and immediately report any issues or maintenance concerns.
- Employee should have a solid comprehension of the English language.
- Work hours will be from 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday with 2 hours required on Saturdays as needed for meadow lot irrigation. Two weeks of paid vacation will be given every year. There are no medical, dental, or vision care benefits.
- Community will pay for additional labor should it be required. Large projects may require a bid price.
- Landscape maintenance – FULL TIME, immediate opening. Canyon Mesa Country Club, VOC. Call or apply in person, 928-284-4675 ask for Scott.
- This employee requires a valid Arizona driver’s license, legal residency, be able to operate standard landscape equipment (blower chainsaw, weedwhacker, etc.), and have basic knowledge of landscape maintenance and irrigation. Employee should have a solid comprehension of the English language. Workdays are Monday through Friday, and the hours change seasonally. You may be required to work an occasional Saturday as needed. One-week paid vacation will be given after one year and will increase based on length of employment. There are no medical, dental, or vision care benefits
