Janitor / Cleaner - Icon at Silverleaf (Scottsdale, AZ)

Reports To: Community Manager.

Employment Type: Full-Time - Benefits available.

Position Overview: Icon at Silverleaf Condominium Association is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Janitors/Cleaners/Porters to join our Facilities team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the Icon at Silverleaf. Building entryways, parking and security office, pool area, restrooms, and common areas.

The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a beautiful environment for residents, guests, and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all common areas, including the lobby, offices, restrooms, fitness center, entryways, and hallways.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces, gym equipment, and public restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces as assigned.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
• Inspect and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Community Manager.
• Refill cleaning and restroom supplies as needed and maintain janitorial closets in an organized manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and association policies at all times.
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior custodial, janitorial, or porter experience preferred, especially in a clubhouse, gym, hotel, or banquet facility setting.
• Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment (vacuum, floor buffer, etc.).
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  
  

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time: 40 hours per week with benefits eligibility.
• Part-Time: Flexible scheduling available (evening and weekend shifts preferred).
• Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
