We are seeking a collaborative and detail oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. You will be playing a key role in the day-to-day operations by ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves a lot of hands-on work with a variety of technologies, including computers, phone systems, headsets, keyboards, and virtual access software. Your primary tasks will include troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining these systems to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Duties And Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for both on-site and remote users.
Install, configure, and update computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
Maintain and configure VoIP phone systems and headsets to ensure clear communication for all users.
Provide technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
Set up accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems.
Test and evaluate new technology for potential benefits within the company.
Train staff members on how to use technology properly and safely.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Prepare and present reports on usage and malfunctions to management.
Coordinate with external partners, such as internet service providers and hardware vendors, to resolve issues promptly.
Participate in the documentation and inventory management of IT assets.
Assist in the implementation and management of virtual access software and endpoints.

Qualifications
Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
In-depth understanding of computer systems, networks, and a variety of tech products.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
Education
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field preferred.
