Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Asset Manager to oversee the logistics and management of our IT equipment, software, and contracts. The IT Asset Manager plays a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory records, managing the lifecycle of IT assets, and supporting various IT Teams across the company. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle equipment logistics, vendor coordination, and software management effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipment and receipt of IT equipment, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all assets.
- Inventory Management: Keep precise records of IT equipment, including asset tagging and tracking, to maintain an organized and up-to-date inventory.
- Equipment Check-In: Verify incoming equipment for accuracy, condition, and functionality, ensuring all items are correct, undamaged, and ready for use.
- IT Asset Inspection: Inspect returned or incoming equipment to confirm it meets operational standards, is in good working condition, and is suitable for deployment.
- Logistics Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for FedEx and other shipping vendors, resolving delivery issues and ensuring reliable service.
- Office Moves and Setups: Assist with IT equipment setups and relocations during office moves, ensuring all equipment is correctly installed and functional.
- Support to Desktop Team: Provide logistical support to the Desktop Support team, including assisting with basic equipment troubleshooting when needed.
- Disposal Assistance: Help with the proper disposal of outdated or non-functional equipment, ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental standards.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of all equipment transactions and activities, ensuring compliance with company inventory policies.
- IT Contracts Management: Assist in managing IT contracts, including renewals, compliance, and vendor communication, ensuring contracts are up-to-date and properly documented.
- Software Management: Oversee software licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance, tracking renewals, and assisting with procurement and deployment.
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed during equipment setup, relocations, and shipments.
Qualifications
- Requirements:
- Two years experience in IT asset and inventory management. Required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tracking systems for inventory and asset management.
- Knowledge of software license management and contract coordination.
- Excellent communication skills for vendor coordination and team collaboration.
Pay and Benefits:
$45,000 to $60,000, depending on education and experience.
