The Integrations Engineering Manager helps foster an inspiring workplace where talented people are empowered to drive amazing customer experiences and business results through a suite of innovative products. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will leverage your technical expertise and passion for innovation to solve mission-critical problems and set the strategic direction for the engineering organization.
This Integrations Engineering Manager will influence best engineering practices through hands-on leadership and help scale our next phase of rapid growth. We are looking for a dynamic technologist who isn't afraid to push boundaries and think beyond what is expected, inspiring a team of talented individuals. You will lead a diverse group of engineers to deliver world-class software applications that provide optimized digital solutions, delivering on the company mission.
Although we do business around the US, we call North Carolina home and we would love for you to be in Wilmington, where we are headquartered. - Work with the developers on your team to break down projects into deliverable chunks of work. Operate in sprints or Kanban.
- Give great feedback on code reviews, architecture documents, and more to help support team members in making great technical decisions.
- Have 1:1 meetings with your direct reports to ensure they are supported in their career growth and development goals. Serve as a technology expert within the business to maintain technical standards, security, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
- Assist in long-term technical roadmaps with short-term key priorities, executing on overall strategy, anticipating risk, and iterating our way to a target.
- Lead the architecture and design of the Vantaca external API ensuring a robust and scalable product.
- Develop and implement technical strategies for seamless integration with third-party systems.Oversee the real-time monitoring and notifications of interface uptime, performance and issues.
- B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering and product technologies
- 2+ years in a /leadership position managing software engineering teams
- A mentor for engineering teams, including code reviews and direct management.
- Ability to work cross functionally with all organizational levels and act as a change agent, remaining growth and transformation focused.
- Excellent stakeholder management, prioritization skills, and agile delivery through chaos and fast-paced environments.
- Strong partnership with product managers and designers to build software that’s useful, usable, and solves real customer pain.
- Extensive experience working with product managers to ensure planning and prioritization of key projects. You inspire the engineering team to achieve challenging and high-performance goals and timelines for work.
- You are inspired to code and can assist and solve problems as they arise.
- Our eNPS is +54! (Google it, that is great).
