Job Description
FirstService Residential is looking for a Human Resources & Payroll Admin to join our team in Manhattan! Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage shared email boxes and ticketing system.
- Answer and resolve payroll issues and inquiries.
- Ensure that policies and procedures comply with all government regulations and company
- guidelines.
- Have high attention to detail to ensure that when processing data across all HR Systems is
- accurate and with a right first-time approach.
- Work closely with both the payroll team and Third-Party Provider to communicate and collect payroll changes and ensure that data is processed, and queries are answered all within the payroll calendars each week
- Responsible for running and sharing weekly reports to meet the needs of the business, including sharing probation end dates with managers.
- Support the wider team with general administration and various HR projects to meet the needs of the business.
- Sort, scan, disperse mail to proper teams. Create mail log, maintain, and utilize as follow up tool to
- ensure items are handled accordingly.
- Create and maintain training manuals and SOP’s.
- Assist with audits: payroll, union, and worker’s compensation.
- Assists with training.
Knowledge, Skills, and Proficiencies:
- Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years of work experience in high paced office work or corporate
- environment.
- Knowledge of U.S wage and hour laws preferred.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other HRIS platform preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office applications including word, excel and outlook.
- High energy with a positive self-starter personality.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow-up on assignments.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and a superb attention to detail.
- Friendly and positive to work well on a team with a variety of personalities.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise independent/sound
- judgment.
