Job Description
Associa is looking for an HR Manager to join our team in Carlsbad, CA.The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing activities of the human resource (HR) department.These responsibilities include managing HR services and assisting with policies. The HR Manager serves as anadvocate who ensures that all company and employee interactions are handled in a fair and consistent manner.Other responsibilities may include recruiting, new hire orientation, employee development and training, payrolland compensation and benefit administration. The HR Manager may also responsible for employee relations alongwith performance improvement. Additionally, the HR Manager is responsible for understanding and keepingabreast of compliance and other regulatory concerns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage HR operations.
- Manage and supervise human resources initiatives; recruitment, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations of an organization as needed.
- Ensure policies, procedures and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals and are in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws.

Compensation:
85,000-90,000 depending on experience
Requirements
- Requires 1-2 years of directly related HR experience as a HR Generalist or related position.
- BA/BS in Human Resources, Human Resources Certificate or education in Business or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of or exposure to Federal and California employment laws such as ADA, FMLA and California Leave laws and benefits, with the demonstrated ability to understand and apply such legal requirements, and interpret and apply complex policies.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills required.
- Must be detail-oriented and meticulously organized, with excellent follow-through and analytical skills.
- Must be able to work independently and take the initiative to address issues on a pro-active basis.
- Problem solving, project management, and presentation skills required.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees and managers. Strong persuasion and conflict resolution skills required.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills a must, including strong proofreading abilities and the ability to interface with others inside and outside of the Company in a positive and professional manner.
