Job Description

Associa is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. We believe increating a productive work environment that is growth oriented and inclusive.This role will encompass a broad range of areas within the Human Resource function. Thisposition is onsite but has a flexible team-oriented environment After introductory period, there willbe an option to work remote one day a week. However, the role will require onsitepresence in both our Chantilly VA, and Falls Church, VA offices on a weekly basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct and manage new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Serve as main point of contact for employee training
  • Support and manage Leave of Absences (FMLA, Personal, Workers Compensation)
  • Recruiting support
  • Complete employer responses to unemployment claims
  • Assist in projects, such as Employee Engagement events, benefits open enrollment,employee communications and company-wide meetings
  • Assist with employee relations issues
  • Answer employee questions about policy and procedures
  • Recruiting support
  • Payroll support (10% or less)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Experience with new employee onboarding programs and processes.
  • Knowledge of FMLA/leave administration, unemployment, workers' compensation claims, and employee relations
  • Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 2-4 years of directly related or closely related experience
