Job Description

Associa is looking for a dynamic and versatile Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team! This role will help support our expanding North and South Carolina markets. This position will work a hybrid schedule with approx. 60%+ of their time in a remote support environment. An ideal candidate will need to be in commuting distance to the Raleigh, NC branch office.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct and manage new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Serve as main point of contact for employee training
  • Support and manage Leave of Absences (FMLA, Personal, Workers Compensation)
  • Recruiting support
  • Complete employer responses to unemployment claims
  • Assist in projects, such as Employee Engagement events, benefits open enrollment, employee communications and company-wide meetings
  • Assist with employee relations issues
  • Answer employee questions about policy and procedures
  • Recruiting support
  • Payroll support (10% or less)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proficient knowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures.
  • Some knowledge of FMLA/leave administration, unemployment, workers' compensation and employee relations experience
  • Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
  • Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams) at a proficient level.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have 2 - 5 years of directly related or closely related experience
