Job Description
The Human Resources Business Partner provides expertise and guidance to leadership and clients on matters regarding the workforce. Building strong relationships with team members, the Human Resources Business Partner fosters a culture of family spirit. The HRBP helps Leadership determine strategies and execute plans for talent development. The HRBP also oversees and assists with general human resources duties, such as payroll, benefits, recordkeeping and training. The HRBP may review, update and deploy new human resources policies and practices.
Where will the position based?
This is a onsite position for our St Petersburg branch offices with periodic travel to the Fort Myers branch office required approximately 10% of the time or as needed.

Responsibilities
- Guide leadership in employee relations and performance management.
- Administer employee compensation, training and benefit programs.
- Drive a first-class onboarding experience for new hires.
- Serves as the primary knowledge center for questions regarding company policies, practices and regulations.
- Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing, training and performance evaluations.
- Responsible for payroll data integrity and time card processing.
- Maintains personnel files, monitors deadlines, timely follow up.
- Point of contact for training and professional development opportunities, memberships and classes.
- Leads employee morale initiatives.
- Assist with recruiting and staffing assignments as needed.
- Monitor and report on employment metrics.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Positive attitude, solution oriented and self-motivated.

- Time management and time critical prioritization skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Tech savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office 365, ADP, mobile devices.
- Strong knowledge of business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).
- Knowledge of Human Resource policies and procedures.
- Expertise in Title VII, FLSA, ADA/ADAAA, FMLA, COBRA and other applicable laws.
- Knowledge of FMLA/leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers’ compensation, and employee relations.
- Knowledge of OSHA worksite and personal safety requirements.
- Knowledge of State and local governmental compliance requirements.
- Experienced in conflict resolution techniques.
- Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 4+ years of related experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish beneficial
- HR Certification preferred

- Periodic travel within the service area
