Here's the fine print:
- Manages the full lifecycle for all exempt and non-exempt searches including assessing staffing needs, posting job requisitions and job advertisements, screening of all candidates, coordination of interviews, consultation with managers in hiring decisions and extending job offers
- Help support new human resources policies and practices
- Administer employee compensation, training and benefit programs
- Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions or concerns regarding company policies, practices and regulations
- Builds an effective sourcing network to fill all requisitions in a timely manner
- Anticipates openings and establishes a pipeline of candidates to reduce vacancy percentage and improve time to fill
- Drives a strong social networking recruiting strategy
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to increase efficiencies and identify potential candidates
- Responds to candidate inquiries and works to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Leads all hiring managers to understand Associa's recruiting process
- Process bi-weekly payroll.
- Works closely with the Regional HR Director to drive Associa's employer brand
- Serves as an ambassador to the community for Associa's recruiting efforts
- Works with employees and supervisors to research and resolve employee relations issues
- Conducts investigations and recommends solutions regarding employee concerns related to work environment and claims of harassment and discrimination
- Provides guidance and support to supervisors in all tasks related to performance management
- Assists supervisors in selecting and carrying out appropriate methods for correcting performance deficiencies
- Provides administrative support in the areas of Recruitment, Benefits and Payroll. Routes paperwork, issues and questions to the appropriate Home Office HR Department member.
- Conducts accident investigations to determine cause and discusses proactive solutions with supervisors/managers to prevent recurrence
- Responds to claims for unemployment insurance, including preparation of supporting documentation and managing the appeals process
- Manages the separation process, including collection of final documents, exit interviews, and sending required documents/final paycheck to the supervisor or departed employee. Completes all required internal notifications regarding separations.
- Coordinates training and/or roll-out of new Company procedures/policies
- Assist with other jobs and duties as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years' experience with human resources or recruiting
- Candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills required.
- Confidentiality and discretion in the performance of all duties and responsibilities
- Time management and time critical prioritization skills
- Knowledge of Payroll and HRIS systems (ADP experience a plus)
- Knowledge of typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.) at a proficient level
- Knowledge of FMLA/leave administration, performance management, unemployment and workers' compensation claims, and employee relations
- Knowledge of Human Resource and administrative policies and procedures
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of employees and managers. Strong persuasion and conflict resolution skills required.
- Must be detail-oriented and meticulously organized, with excellent follow-through and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at a proficient level
- Ability to travel up to 10%
