Human Resources Assistant - HOAMCO (Prescott, AZ)

Function & Role:

The HR assistant skills we’re looking for include excellent organizational ability, familiarity with HR software and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate for the human resources assistant position should have at least 1 year of HR-related experience and have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. The candidate should be able to work autonomously and remain calm under pressure. Ultimately, this position will ensure our HR department is organized and operates smoothly to attract, hire and retain our employees

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of human resources and it’s function within the company
  • Familiar with HRIS
  • At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Some college is a plus
  • All Microsoft office experience including PowerPoint, Excel, Word,
  • Familiar with benefits with a self-funded plan preferably.

Responsibilities And Duties:

  • Communicate with new hires on their first day, welcome them aboard and send important information regarding time off, benefit eligibility and basic ins and outs of Paycor.
  • Run reports as requested by the HR Manager for benefit eligibility and other key reports pertaining to compliance
  • Send out anniversary cards as well as other material as necessary
  • Assist with Benefits questions and Open Enrollment
  • Understand Policies and Procedures to answer basic questions as they arise
  • Keep HR Folders up to date and clean in SharePoint
  • Selected candidate will be required to take pre-screen skills tests.
  • Selected candidate will require background and drug screening.
