Job Description

We are looking for a Novice/intermediate Horticulturist. We provide landscape maintenance, restoration, and design services to a variety of clients. In this role, you will work closely with the Landscape Manager to assist in the day-to-day operations.

What you’ll accomplish:
Assist with management of the landscaping subcontractor
Patrol and inspect the work of the landscaping subcontractor
Report writing and keeping a log of your daily duties
Irrigation management
One-on-one contact with homeowners
Analysis of health and maintenance of the Florida Flora
Suggestions to the Landscape Manager for improvements or changes in protocol
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture or a related field (associate degree and relevant experience over 2 years may suffice)
Certifications such as ASHS or CPH are a plus
Experience with Florida Landscaping and working with Florida plants
Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work outside in inclement Florida conditions
Ability to work long hours and weekends if needed
Ability to lift 50 plus pounds and or have the weight on your back for extended periods
Ability to operate a UTV (utility task vehicle)
Precision eye for detail
