HOA General Manager – HOAMCO (Lake Almanor, CA)
We are looking to hire a General Manager for a large-scale HOA resort community on Lake Almanor in CA. Imagine living in a Lake Tahoe like setting with golf, summer lake life, hiking, XC skiing out your front door, lift access and backcountry skiing minutes away, and views of/access to the Lassen Volcanic National Park.
This HOA General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the community. HOAMCO team members are passionate, and work independently yet understand the value of teamwork. This person is a pro-active manager professionally supervising staff by handling all aspects of a smooth-running community accommodating our residents.

This position is offering a salary range of $120,000.00 to $160,000.00 Depending on experience.
Skill Requirements
- 3+ years of HOA Community Management experience
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen
- Experience with developing and maintaining client and employee relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent work processing and computer skills required
Essential Requirements
- Experience in leading, developing, and coaching employees
- Proven ability to develop relationships based on respect, trust, and effective communication
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to the management team
Additional Responsibilities & Requirements
- Manage and support the overall community
- Full responsibility for site maintenance, system integrity, and aesthetics
- Financial planning and annual budget preparations
- Attend Board meetings and committee meetings as required
- Coordinate annual meetings for the Association
- Disseminate information to Residents on an ongoing basis for a wide variety of issues and topics
- Liaise with local government entities for the advancement of community initiatives
- Enforce community rules, regulations, and have a working knowledge of the Davis-Sterling Act
- Oversee contractors for maintenance and repairs
- Weekly visits with Landscape Vendors to ensure all aspects of landscape and maintenance contract metrics are met
- Solicit bids, negotiate contract terms, and oversee projects and repairs
- Recruitment and supervision of staff
- Conduct community inspections to ensure compliance with governing documents
- Flexible work hours based on community needs
- CMCA or higher designation preferred
- Proficient level of computer skills including Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proven experience handling multiple projects simultaneously, and working in an environment, which requires flexibility, innovation, superb customer service skills, and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
