The Head Swim Coach plays an important role in the community by managing the day-to-day operations of the swim team while facilitating a fun and successful season.
What You’ll Accomplish
- Planning swimming instruction for groups of different skill levels
- Educating and supervising assistant coaches
- Purchasing team supplies: suits, caps, shirts, food, etc. and submitting reimbursement paperwork
- Managing all aspects of team administration: website, emails, volunteer tracker, etc.
- Coordinating the practice schedule, and swim meet calendar
- Coaching at swim meets while supervising swimmers
- Working closely with parent volunteers
- Communicating with AHCA Association for budget, registration, facility use, and maintenance help
What We’re Looking For
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
- Experience with pool operations and safety is preferred
- Strong swimming skills
- Leadership abilities
- Energy, a great attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work in a seasonal capacity (May – July)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Community Information
Anthem Highlands is a planned 1,800 single-family home community association in Broomfield, CO, just north of Denver. Anthem Highlands opened for sales in 2005 and now has 1300 homes. The community has extensive lifestyle and fitness programming, open space, trail system, pocket parks and a centerpiece 32,000 sq. ft. community recreation facility called Parkside Center.
